This past Friday (August 12th), the West Orange rapper DamonStCloud released his debut album entitled “From Me To You”. The illustrious package of high-grade hip hop contains his leading single, “Charlie Barlett” featuring Baj and “Solo Dolo”. This project has been long-awaited. DamonStCloud has always been on the forefront of modern Hip- Hop. He brings laid back beats to the limelight that are greatly under-appreciated in modern rap. Damon has a slick, smooth tongue with an ability to portray vivid portraits.
His success not only comes from his talent, but from his motivational drive. The proclaimed hometown hero has built his career up through his media prowess and presence. This is self-evident at the end of the album as “From Me To You” (FMTY) is the story of said come up. The album has also been preceeded with two music videos for “Solo Dolo” and “Charlie Barlett” that can be found on his Youtube page. Along side his visual works of art is his new VLOG.
